DISCOVERING NATURE'S BLISS

The “Discovering Nature's Bliss” Nature Day outing is an event designed to invite BIPOC families to explore and experience the wonders of nature in our local community. Through mindfulness, yoga, plant life education, and physical activities, attendees will learn how to cultivate a greater sense of belonging while being outdoors.

Empowering Communities of Color: Free Nature Day Outings in 2024

We aim to offer free Nature Day Outings in 2024, specifically tailored to nurture communities of color. These outings are not just excursions, but immersive experiences that combine mindfulness, yoga, plant life education, physical activities, and more.

 

Our goal for the upcoming year is to enhance and expand the activities offered, as well as improve the overall experience for attendees. This includes providing resources for BIPOC practitioners, purchasing gardening supplies for workshops, and offering healthy food for participants. With your help, we can continue to support our community's wellness and create meaningful and sustainable connections with nature.

Free Access: We're passionate about making wellness accessible. Our events are free of charge, ensuring every family, regardless of economic status, can join us.

Local BIPOC Practitioners: Our team of skilled, local practitioners are here to guide you through this journey of discovery and connection.

Outdoor Mindfulness: Through guided activities, you'll learn to connect with your surroundings and find a sense of inner peace.

Community-Building: Join us and be a part of a supportive, welcoming community that cherishes shared experiences in the great outdoors.

Education: We offer engaging, practical knowledge about plant life, nutrition, and the natural environment. 

Physical Activity: Experience the joy of outdoor activities like yoga and hiking, all while connecting with your body and nature.

Self-Care Advocacy: Learn the importance of self-care and how it can impact your overall well-being.

 

By promoting mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness within communities of color, we hope to create a ripple effect that extends beyond the individuals who attend our events. We believe that when individuals prioritize their well-being, they can then positively influence their families, friends, and communities.
